Meet Your Host
Dr. Lj Johnson PsyD. IHP. FDNP. IIN, CHEK, is passionate about all things women's health specifically endometriosis, PCOS, and fibroids. In her practice, she works hard to be an advocate for women battling endometriosis to provide them with wholistic functional care so they are able to thrive despite the chronic invisible illness. She likes to approach each patient with a friendly and understanding spirit, while supporting them throughout their entire healthcare journey, from seeking their diagnosis to creating a multidisciplinary healthcare plan. Lj graduated from the University of Denver with a Doctorate in Psychology and from the University of Phoenix with a Master's of Community Counseling. She also has extensive training as a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, Corrective Holistic Exercise Kinesiology, and multiple certifications through the American Council On Exercise. “As it took 16 years for me to be properly diagnosed with endometriosis, my philosophy of women's health and functional medicine is to provide individualized care to my patients by acknowledging their unique situations, educating these patients and their families, and providing compassionate, high-quality care no matter the circumstance.
